Want a quality brew? well here it is! Lagunitas smacks a home run with this wheat fest. This beer is very good....period! it does not hold the hype as some other brews due to the fact it is produced and distributed on a larger scale but make no mistake...it's good.

Bottom Line: Fantastic offering from the boyz and girls at Lagunitas!

This pours in a light, slightly hazy yellow straw color.

The aroma has grapefruit, some wheat, orange.

The flavor has a big juicy orange, melon, and grapefruit flavor. The beer has a wonderful sweet wheaty and malty middle. The finish is a bit of a bitter dry finish.

I would call this an IPA like Flower Power instead of a wheaty pale ale. It doesn't have the pop that some West Coast IPAs have because of the wheat and malt. I like the balance of this beer. I would recommend it for people trying to get into IPAs because of the good smooth bitterness.

Poured in a hefeweizen glass. Nice honey color with a three finger head.

The aroma wasn't too strong with some grapefruit and citrus.

Nicely carbonated.

The taste was excellent. Very strong grapefruit-citrus- a prominent characteristic of the beer.
Overall, a solid beer. Tastes more like an IPA. The aroma is a bit light. The finish is the dominant
offering of the beer.
