Out of a bottle that I drank with my brother-in-law over Thanksgiving this beer was a slightly hazy golden color with some amber tint. The one finger of head retained itself nicely and left bands of thin lacing. The aroma was of lots of citrusy hops, pale malt and some wheat underneath. The flavors were similar showcasing the orange, grapefruit and lemon notes of the hops with hints of pine and pale malt lingering on the finish. The mouthfeel was good, the body medium and the carbonation appropriate. A very tasty beer and a premier example of an American Pale Wheat Ale.

A - pours a clear golden yellow, with a one finger head
S - hoppy, citrusy
T - amazingly citrusy and delicious, grapefruit primarily is what I taste
M - a little thin, but very smooth
O - a very very good beer, I was surprised by it, because I just got it on a whim because I like lagunitas, but a really outstanding beer

Poured into draft glass

A- Poured a golden color body with a foamy white one-finger head. I poured this a little passively.

S- Pine, grapefruit, citrus, and a sweet malt come screaming from the mouth of the glass competing for position. West Coast all the way here.

T- Nice flavor. There is a piney hop taste with grapefruit and citrusy notes in there. Then the sweet malt backbone comes in there. It doesn't overpower it, though. A little bitterness on the finish. Well-balanced, pleasant.

M- The mouthfeel is just right. It has a nice juicy, medium-body feel to it. Not quite as crisp as I like in some of the upper-echelon west coast style ales.

O- Im not a huge fan of wheats, as I tend to go toward the IPAs, Stouts, and pumpkins. However, this is a solid beer and the best wheat I ever had.
