Lightly colored, bright hay yellow; good head formation and lacing.
Aroma is incredible; I can smell it sitting on the table. Big juicy hops burst out. Sweet, juicy, melon, bubble gum. Yum! Smells like no other “wheat” I’ve had.
Tastes like a big, bold IPA. I really can’t pick out any wheat, other than it having a pretty nice fluffy texture. That’s OK though, because this is a very tasty ale. Lagunitas knows how to use hops and each mouthful is just packed with delicious fruity/juicy hoppiness. Somewhat sweet up until a touch of drying bitterness that keeps it from being too much. Good balance here actually. I’d be fine with a bigger wheat profile, but it’s hard to fault something so enjoyable.
Drinkability is sky high. At 7.5%, I’m sucking this down no problem. It’s just so tasty! I will be buying a six-pack of this the next chance I get. After having this and Sucks, I’m a big fan of the brewery.

This beer is a hazy, effervescent, dark-straw colored beverage. Bubbles rise constantly and aggressively through the liquid. The smell is a mix of grapefruit, lemon and crackers. It's a fresh, refreshing smell, but it's a bit static and one-dimensional. Nice aroma...but citrus dominates. The flavor is more nuanced.. There's a lemon-grass and wheat twang flavor, backed by a bit of sweetness and modest hop flavor. Nicely packaged. The beer also hides it's alcohol well. It tastes like a session beer, but the ABV could be dangerous. Some residual sweetness that hints at heaviness, yet the beer stays refreshing. Nice beer.

A: Yellow golden body with a slight white head.
S: Another great smelling beer from Lagunitas. True west coast IPA smell with plenty of sweet citrus and hop aroma. Finishes nicely with the malt and wheat.
T: Hard to follow the believable smell this beer gives off, but it tastes pretty great as well. Mango and grapefruit with nice hop kick. The wheat is slightly detectable but not prominent.
M: Medium bodied and carbonated.
O: A really stellar offering from Lagunitas. I applaud them for making really good beer that is pretty accessible to the masses. I could drink this all day.

Appearance: Very light in color, small head which disappears immediately. No lacing to be found.
Smell: Fruity, apples and cherry come to mind. A little bit of the hops comes through as well. Very sweet.
Taste: Follows the nose exactly. A little bit of the hops at first, followed by the fruity sweetness from the smell. Balances well. No malt to be found.
Mouthfeel: Thin and goes down very smooth. Feels great for a beer with this much abv and character.
Overall: The smell is terrific, and the taste follows it a little too much. The sweetness can be a bit overpowering, but a good beer nonetheless. Would drink again for sure.

This is a clear, medium gold ale. Looks light. Small white head.
I get mostly all sweet citrus in the nose, with a touch of pine. Smells almost identical to Founders All Day IPA. I like.
Sweet creamy flavor up front, a little pine and grass on the way out. Dry, mildly bitter after taste. Pretty mild flavor especially after the first few drinks, but nice balance.
Mouth is surprisingly heavier than you would think from its appearance. Very drinkable and tasty.

A - yellowish golden body with a small white head.
S - fresh citrus is all over the smell, very crisp and fresh.
T - nice fresh pine, citrus notes with a little bitter hops at the very end. Taste doesn't hit you in the mouth but it's nice. Almost an orange tasting aftertaste.
M - DEcent carbonation. Nothing exciting about the feel though. Really just there and then gone.
) - Everything's there but maybe not as much as you'd like it to be. Definitely solid and I think it's a nice refreshing beer to have in the fridge at any given time.
