a very clean copper with 2 fingers of off white head causing for some nice lacing! visible amount of carbonation.
smells of pineapple arises up front, followed bya blend of citrus and floral hop characters. you even get a thorough whiff of the sweet malt profile.
an earhty bitterness up front mixed in with some sweet citrus notes, followed by a relaxing malt backbone that shows a very sweet side, yet a subtle bread-like quality as well. the taste of tree sap is left behind in your palate, which blends in nicely with the leftover malt sweetness.

a medium body ale with a good amount of carbonation, a creamy feel on the lips and a thirst inducing sweet sensation that makes you crave more and more!

i think this is my favorite go-to beer that we get here in nj. i've had lots and lots of beers, and some seasonals and ipa's that i LOVE (hell, even more than this), but this sumpin' ale really gives you a bang for your buck. plus, you can sit back and have more than one.. granted, it's not a session ale but it does drink like one.

Poured from a bottle into a plain old pint glass. Huge head that never goes away. Great lacing. Slightly dark golden color. Great looking beer.

Smell is mild hops with nice malt. I think I want to drink this.

Taste is great. Mild hoppiness to start, malty- hoppy in the middle with a lingering hop that is very pleasant. Refreshing deliousness. The hops are definitely present but they don't whack you in the head, they just taste good.

Mouthfeel is perfect. Lightly carbonated and smoooth. This is a drinker.

Overall a very refreshing beer. Me and miss sumpin' will be spending some serious time together this summer. I tried this beer on a cool fall day and liked it ok, but its unseasonably warm today and after a long bike ride this is it. Lagunitas is a really good brewery.
