22oz bottle poured into my sierra nevada hop tulip glass.
A- this one pours out a golden colored body with a hint of amber. there is a large off white head that lasts a long time and leaves rings of lacing on the sides of my glass. nice.
S- sweet fruity pineapple is the first thing i notice. not what i was expecting. also alot of pine and a bit of citrus. very hoppy smelling.
T- the wheat qualities of the original beer. lots and lots of hops. pineapple, orange, grapefruit, and pine.
M- medium bodied and soft feeling. the alcohol is well hidden.
D- easy to finish. not much left of the wheat side of this. check this one out, the price is certainly right.

Poured out a clear deep gold with a creamier white head. The head has moderate retention and leaves nice soapy lacing. The aroma is mild, but with nice distinct notes of pine and fruit. The taste is close to the smell but just amplified. It has great blending of the hops components (citrus, pine, floral) and a great malt backbone to stand up to it. The body is just right, not too heavy but not watery, either. A great Imperial IPA.

From a 12 ounce bottle into a snifter. Bottled Julian date of 167.
There's a healthy head on this, foamy like soapy water, with lots of scattered lace and a pale white color. Beneath is a copper-colored body with excellent quality and light carbonation.
Piney and sweet notes dominate the aroma, suggesting something almost barleywine like. It's got a touch of something spicy that I would think is rye, and hints of caramel and bread. There's also a floral underbelly I start to notice more.
The piney and sweet nose give way to a citrusy and sweet taste. There's a lot of orange juice here and maybe a little pine still, as well as a sweet caramel thickness.
A thick and creamy body are here and a bitterness that is neither offensive nor aggressive. This beer is really quite drinkable and its alcohol masterfully disguised. Really, there's not a hint of booze anywhere.
Credit to Lagunitas for their consistently tasty, yet affordable, beers. Here's another one.

Growler fill at Market District
Appearance: Clear golden color with a one finger foamy off white head that dissipates quickly. Plenty of lacing is left behind
Smell: Orange, pineapple, mango, floral, pine, dank, hints of honey. A bouquet of hops so to speak. Lovely
Taste: Sweet tropical fruits mentioned in the smell upfront that fades into a piney, citrus finish and aftertaste. The burps are amazing on this one! It's almost like taking a sip all over again!
Mouthfeel: Medium body, yet a little watery for the style; Very soft and delicately smooth with slight bitterness. One of the easiest drinking high abv beers iv ever experienced
Overall: I have yet to try Sucks, but this just may be my favorite lagunitas beer to date. Such fresh qualities to it and goes down extremely smooth for almost 9%. At $7.99 a 64 oz growler at my local store, you will not get better for the price, and to me is the perfect budget Enjoy By (or any world class hard to find/expensive IPA for that matter). Too bad I haven't been able to find this in bottles. Still on the hunt! One of my favorite IPAs to date and highly recommended! Cheers!!
