22oz bottle poured into a Portsmouth goblet.
A - Pours a completely clear pale amber with 2" of creamy off-white head. Good staying power and when it dies away, leaves nice lacing on the sides of the glass.
S - Citrusy - grapefruit, orange...also, some pineapple. Some caramel and sugary sweet aromas.
T - More malt in the flavor than the aroma. Lots of caramel, some toasty notes, sugar, bread. Good amount of hop bitterness, but not over the top. A balanced double IPA. Grapefruit, pineapple, maybe a little mango flavor in here from the hops.
M - Medium bodied. Resiny hops give a slightly sticky feel. Finishes pretty dry with a lingering hop bitterness. Carbonation is medium to high...very prickly feeling on the tongue.
D - A little bit surprised that this is 8.74%...alcohol is not really apparent in the flavor. Drinks more like a standard IPA...in other words, goes down pretty easy. Enjoying this beer, maybe not as much as the regular Little Sumpin' Sumpin' though.
