Nice golden color brew here with a foamy white head, lots of lacing on the glass -- a nice start to a double IPA. Aroma is very solid, not quite as thick as some DIPAs, lots of citrus and floral notes. Taste is a bit thin but very good, citrusy but light. Except for the alcohol, this seems more like an American IPA that a double. Still very tasty and drinkable, quite smooth, with a smooth leafy citrus aftertaste, nice and bitter.

Not as overwhelming as a DIPA should be, but still a damn fine ale for any hophead.

The color is a bit light, almost filtered looking, with a clean complexion. It's a darker yellow, almost golden. The head is a sticky lacing of thick film, bright white, with moderate carbonation.

The nose is hop forward with a truly wide spectrum of aromas. Floral and herbal tones such as onion, chive, cannabis, dank grasses and rose petal are found. There is a fruity side of pineapple, grapefruit, oranges and tangerines.

The flavor is a mirror image of the nose. The dank herbal hops starts with onion and chive but it is saved by the pineapple, orange and tangerine fruitiness.

The feel is substantial and shows no sign of a higher gravity.

I really enjoyed this but did not find it "sumptin extra" over one of my favorites.

Thanks pmolino for tossing me a bottle, enjoyed from a lag units pint.

Pours classic IPA look transparent yellow with frothy head. Nose is really nice citric, fairly da and sticky but still on the fruity side of the hop spectrum but with nice resinous qualities. Taste matches. Awesome IIPA fresh citric hop, tropical fruit. Really nice medium to full body, I could drink this constantly, in fact, think I will. SO good. Check it out if you get the chance. This can hold its own next to all the big boys, great job on this beer!
