According to Lagunitas this beer is "A big Ol' Imperial Brown Ale to help you with your slipperly slide on into springtime. Rich, smooth, dangerous & chocolatey".
It's a good brew.
A - Rich, deep, opaque brown color with tan frothy head that lasted only few minutes.
S - A rather mild aroma hints of caramel malts and citrus hoppiness...pleasant aroma. I didn't really get any chocolate though.
T - Tastes like it smells... Caramel comes through nicely, citrus hoppiness...faint chocolate. Something kinda spicy at the end...nice though.
M - medium in body
D - refreshing and damn drinkable...especially at $4.50/pint

A- Deep caramel in color. Clear. A lager three finger head develops with a heavy pour. Moderate lacing
S- Bitter hops and roasted malts, vanilla bean, brown sugar. A sweet bready aroma comes through.
T- Sweet bready malts but not as much hop as the nose. Well balanced with a warming aftertaste.
M- Surprisingly light bodied for an imperial brown. Goes down easy.
O- Good not great but it may just be be. While well built and drinkable, to me the flavor seems a little off. This was my first taste of WTF and with no apparent date on the bottle, I don't know if its me or the brew. I'll have to give it another go.
