A 22oz'er at 49F served in a tulip.
A - Pours a quite dark brown with reddish copper tint. Clear, with a two-finger head and a moderate amount of fine lacing.
S - Mild nose overall. Caramel malts and herbal hop notes.
T - An interesting beer - this wants to be a malty brown ale perhaps but has the hoppiness of an IPA. As the label describes, it is indeed quite malty, with nice toffee and caramel flavors, especially after it warms. The hops are strong in this one though - mostly herbal with some citrus as well. Not too bitter on the finish, and overall it is well-balanced. Compared to some of their other limited releases that I haven't been all that impressed with, this one generally delivers on taste.
M - Medium to full body with above average carbonation. A bit syrupy after it warms.
D - Alcohol is fairly well hidden for the 8%. Very drinkable. Better than some of their other efforts, yet faintly similar,

A- Deep caramel in color. Clear. A lager three finger head develops with a heavy pour. Moderate lacing
S- Bitter hops and roasted malts, vanilla bean, brown sugar. A sweet bready aroma comes through.
T- Sweet bready malts but not as much hop as the nose. Well balanced with a warming aftertaste.
M- Surprisingly light bodied for an imperial brown. Goes down easy.
O- Good not great but it may just be be. While well built and drinkable, to me the flavor seems a little off. This was my first taste of WTF and with no apparent date on the bottle, I don't know if its me or the brew. I'll have to give it another go.
