A- Pour is a clear golden color, with nearly two fingers of white head that takes awhile to settle to a thin cap. Lacing is well above average.
S- Very nice indeed. A good dose of hops hit the nose first, mainly grapefruit and tangerine. Then the Belgian element comes in, spicy, bready, and bubblegum aromas. I was actually expecting this to be a little funky, but I'm not picking up any of those qualities at all.
T- This drinks more like an IPA to me up until the finish. Bitter right from the get go, but there's a nice malt backbone to help sweeten it up. The finish is hard to describe but it has that Belgian feel to it, perhaps a bit medicinal and fruity as well. The hop bitterness lingers in the finish.
M- Mouthfeel is nearly medium with an ample amount of carbonation. Fairly smooth, and dry.
D- This beer is all about the hops and I didn't think there was anything really "wild" about this one. The Westmalle yeast is definitely here, but I just found that the hops overpowered everything else. A decent beer though!
