bomber into 2012 SAVOR chalice.
A: a big, bright orange hue. head is super dense and has great retention and lacing. off-white in color.
S: yeasty, smooth vanilla. hoppy while hanging onto plenty of sweet caramel/yeast notes. not one sided in the least.
T: linger of sweet sugar and cotton candy. yeasty esters and a fruity finish. the body is bittersweet. enough hops to provide the bitterness and plenty of flavor and also enough hops to keep things balanced.
M: moderate amount of fizz on a pretty much medium/full body.
D: definitely a good beer, just not blown away here. hoppy while remaining rather belgian. not much more for me to say.
