Lagunitas A Little Sumpin' Wild is very pale, citric, and crisp.
It poured a very light lager-like pale gold with a short creamy head and a shower of cascading bubbles. What it lacked in head it made up for with lace. There was a strong explosion of clean citric scent and a crisp initial citric flavor followed by an unpleasant almost soap-like finish. The feel was bubbly and bitter, with a long-lasting dry finish.
Despite the high level of alcohol, A Little Sumpin' Wild had a crisp clean citric summer-like quality, that with the aftertaste made it seem like drinking tangerine peel.
