This one came in a 12 ounce bottle that says it has 9.4 % ABV. in it.
It pours a bright, clear golden yellow with a nice two and a half finger head of off white foam.
Nose on this one is a beut. Citrus aroma's from the hops mainly focus on grapefruit and evergreen needles. Then there is a really nice spiciness. Mainly cloves and maybe some cinnamon as well. Some crystalized malts hang out in the backround.
At first the taste comes out and covers the mouth in juicy hopiness. Citrus fruits and pine come to mind. It is pretty sticky and sweet. Then as I continue my glass, I begin to realize just how awesome the Belgian Yeast did on this Beauty. A nice spicy finish to this one. It has such a crisp and clean taste to it.
There's nothing really wild about this but rather just a hopped up version of a BSPA. All the spiciness and yeast associated with the style just some added American Flair and a lot more hops.
