Poured from a 22 oz. to a pint glass
Appearance: Straw gold with a thin, pure white head
Aroma: Plain malts, biscuit, begian yeast, and banana/clove esters. Belgian aromas are a little masked by the maltiness
Flavor: Tangy citrus balanced with sweet malths. Sweet cream, basic malts, and some smoke dominate the beginning, while fruits (bananas, dates, and pineapple) appear towards the finish alongside bitter hops. No large presence of belgian-type yeast flavors, which was a little unexpected.
MF: Medium to heavy bodied, this one is not that strong in body, yet huge in flavors.
Serving type: bottle
