Poured into an XL snifter.
A - Pours a bright orange with minimal head, leaving lots of bubbles and lacing. Lagunitas has never disappointed me!
S - Bitter piney hops, Belgian yeast, bread, wild honey. This has "Belgian-style IPA' written all over it.
T - Follows the nose - I really like the Belgian yeast used in this. Great subtle malt backbone finishes things nicely. Different, but in a positive way.
M - Bit of an alcohol bite as it goes down, but not bad for 9.4%.
O - Impressed with this beer, as I usually am with any Lagunitas offering. Quite the unusual brew. Can't wait for their winter strong ales to get here.
