650ml bottle drank from my la fin du monde tulip. no freshness information can be found, but this is a newish seasonal.
A- this one pours out of the bottle a translucent golden colored body with a large and fluffy bright white head on top. the head takes its time falling and leaves behind solid rings of lacing.
S- the first thing that i notice are the hops. lots of pine and grapefruit in this. i smell some faint wheat like malts and a little bit of belgian yeast. reminds me of an american brewed belgian IPA.
T- the taste begins with some wheat malts. after that comes some coriander and a little bit of clove. banana and bubblegum make a brief appearance. after all that comes the hops. lots of grapefruit and some pine.
M- medium to full bodied and well carbonated. little to no alcohol burn.
D- like most lagunitas seasonals, i like this one very well. its also a nice twist on something they already make. the name is a little misleading. check this one out if you can. for $4 a bottle, its a great deal.
