12 oz bottle from Texas, thanks Sandy! I poured this one into my goblet. My bottle says 9.4 ABV rather than the 8.85 listed here.
Appearance: Clear golden beer with a white head that settled fairly quickly to leave a ring of bubbles around the edge with a little lacing.
Smell: First I note the yeasty character of the beer. It smell like a good spicy Belgian yeast, as it should. The hops also add to the spiciness of the brew. The malts add a slight sweetness to the smell. All in all, really nice and complex.
Taste: This tastes a little more like an IPA than a typical full -on Belgian. The hop bitterness is present but not overpowering. There is also a light caramel maltiness and some spicy yeast character, too. The finish is long lasting, and the alcohol is well hidden at 9.4 ABV.
Mouthfeel: The carbonation is present but on the light side and the flavors thoroughly coat the mouth.
Overall: This one is occasionally available in Utah, I wish we could get it regularly. A very well done, solid, complex beer. Maybe my only knock is that it would not be accessible to a person new to craft beer. This is a beer lovers beer.

A nice dark honey color, slightly cloudy.
Smell: about average, I guess. Maybe a little tiny bit of banana ester?
Taste: round, complete, plenty of hops with a firm malt backbone. Delicious.
Mouthfeel is right with my favorites. The hops recycle nicely allowing me to draw out the pint and linger over the delicious flavors.
