Poured into a tulip.
A: Pours a slightly thin, fizzy golden orange color with 1 1/2 fingers of head. Faint haziness in color. Bubbles stream up laser etch constantly. Larges sheets of lacing.
S: Bursts of citrus and tropical hops. Was not expecting this much hop smell, but the yeast shines through the back end. Estery and a little bubblegum round out the smell.
T: Tastes better than it smells. Bubblegum and spicy yeast dominate, while the hop profile complements with a nice bitterness. Sweet, spicy, fruity, and bitter all blend together wonderfully.
M: Prickly carbonation and medium bodied.
D: Was really blown away with this one considering I wasn't expecting much. Great BSPA, with a nice addition of hop flavor. ABV and carbonation cuts down the drinkability a notch. Can't wait for the day Lagunitas makes its way to AL.
