Appearance - Bright golden yellow. Slightly hazy. Little to no head retention and minimal lacing.
Smell - A wide range of fruit. Orange, apricot and concord grape are noticeable up front, in that order. Also a bit of clove in there. One of, if not the sweetest smelling beer ever.
Taste - Very much like it smells, very sweet citrus-y hops off the bat. A bit of apricot, and banana like flavors add to the uniqueness of this beer. A very well balanced hybrid between an American pale ale and a Belgian style ale. It captures quite well that Belgian taste due to the yeast used. This beer also tasted remarkably fresh, not sure if this was from the beer itself or if the keg was just tapped.
Mouthfeel - Moderate carbonation. Medium body.
Drinkability - I was surprised to see this beer comes in at 8.5%. Tasted more like a 5-6% beer. Greater than expected drinkability.
Serving type: on-tap
