Orange amber with a thick, coarsely-composed white head. Rich lacing.
Lagunitas-like hops; citrusy and pine-y, of the American ilk. Sweet crackery pale malts and a honey nut Belgian yeast pulse.
Surly bitterness and back-half sappy pine hop-burn. Grapefruit and lemon and honeydew melon. Spicy yeast and spicy hops push boundaries with a piquant slashing. Notes of pink peppercorn, coriander, and orange peel.
Semi-burpy. Alcohol unveiled. A bit astringent, as in acidic. Medium-tailored body is decent.
Too obnoxious with the West Coast IPA hops, too rigid with the yeast strain. Un-relentless spiciness. I like it, but it's a chore.
Serving type: on-tap
