Bomber into a pint glass.
A: Clear golden body with a one-finger creamy head that dissipates via large bubbles pretty rapidly. The body actively effervesces. Charming lacing as I drink it down.
S: A good, strong floral hop nose almost masks the Belgian yeast characteristics. A bit of very slightly toasty malt, and perhaps a bit of cider or pear, maybe orange.
T: Pretty bitter...more bitter in the end than floral in the beginning. Just a bit of tartness, and again a nice Belgian yeastiness. The malt is just too slight, however--this is unbalanced, in the hoppy direction, at least for my taste.
M: Good feel. Nice carbonation, not terribly thick body.
D: Well, it's pretty good for a fairly strong beer. Not something I'd chug, but I will take down this bomber comfortably.
