Poured into an Innis & Gunn flute from the 12 oz. bottle.

a: A nearly clear deep gold formed a huge white head which dissipated to an uneven thick surface foam and heavy lacing.

s: Mild citrus.

t: Pine hops up front but then goes to a more sweet-fruit in a Belgian sort of way.

m: Medium, good body.

o: Tasty and easy drinking wild ale with well-hidden high ABV. Not my favorite Lagunitas but a very good one.

Poured a golden yellow with a big creamy head. Lots of lace on the glass. Smells of citrus and candy, maybe bubble gum, a good smell. Mouth feel is both bitter and sweet, very sharp. The flavor is grapefruit and spice from the hops and the yeast respective. This brew is much more on the Belgium side of ales. Very funky in in the taste department , from the wild yeast.

Pours a golden color with honey highlights. The pure white head is moderate in size but thick and frothy; left a wall of lacing as it dissipated.

The aroma is sweet and spicy. A good amount of clove aroma from the yeast, coupled with some floral farmhouse notes. Sugary sweet and bright. The hops seem to be of a citrus profile, mainly grapefruit. The hops don't standout as much against the clove.

The flavor is quite different. The hops overpower the yeast flavor. Big citrus, grapefruit flavor. A touch of grass, pepper and pine. Standard Lagunitas hop profile, which is excellent. Noticable clove from the yeast along with a floral and sugary sweetness. In the finish the hops come back at you to let you know who's boss. Definitely an American stab at the BIPA style but the hops work well, unlike hop profiles that lean on the sweet tropical fruit flavors.

Moderate on the palate with fizzy carbonation. Sweet and bitter throughout. The bitterness helps keep the brew from being slick. Perhaps could be a bit more crisp.

Another great hoppy beer from Lagunitas. I really dig their hop profile.
