look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

A: light amber hued, medium clarity, copious bubbles and a thick frothy head with no lacing.

S: hops, strong and fresh, hint of citrus, tiny bit of sweet malt.

T: first and foremost, a mouthful of hops, then pine, grass, sweet sugary malt, a little citric acid. Belgian yeast makes a brief appearance at the finish with a bubble gummy aftertaste. Almost no suggestion of the relatively high ABV, warming but not overwhelming. Great balance between the grassy hops, sweet malt and fruity yeast.

M: sharp, crisp carbonation, medium to full bodied. Really refreshing.

D: A nice rendition of a great beer. I really liked the cross between the super hoppy beers of California and the traditional taste of Belgian ales, though the Belgian flavors are rather faint. Very sessionable, which is surprising for its ABV.
