On tap in a pint glass. I asked the bartender for a Green Flash west coast IPA. His reply: "That keg kicked, Lags 13 came in today and I tapped it." That was a few days ago, here's the review.
A- Dark amber color, clean looking. Off-white head, 2-finger, thick and creamy. Heavy drapes of thick lacing.
S- Citrus hops dominate. Some pine. Not much sign of the sweetness to come.
T-A big mix of toasty malt flavors with citrus and pine hops. The sweets are evident and help a near perfect balance of the flavors and alcohols.
M- Full creamy smooth body. Maybe too full, the sweetness is clingy, sticky and resinous. There are enough hops for a long bitter finish. Maybe it needs a bit more carbonation.
O- A great looking beer with drinkability at 8.8% abv.

Deep dark intriguing brown with a frothy off white head
This beer smells of honey, malt, very hoppy nose that is balanced by a strong malt profile
very malty taste, there’s hints of honey, caramel and a lot of hops throughout and in the finish. It hides the alcohol pretty well
This is a nice change up to the regular Lagunitas line, it was a bit pricey. It doesn’t have Lagunitas regular explosive flavor but is still a bit heavy

A - Quiet brew of orange color, very translucent, small head with wonderful lacing.
S - I don't pick up much, some nectar, some toasted wood
T - Caramel and even quite sweet upfront - even young tasting, great spicing in the middle - red pepper flakes - along with plantain sweetness. Welcomed bitter balance. Not smooth, but very drinkable
M - Hefty carbonation, heavy feel.
O - Bursts of sweet and spice, malt and hops. Wonderfully bold and hearty. Enjoyable, but a bit too sugary sweet and I reached my limit on sweetness halfway thru.
