I enjoyed my first Lagunitas a couple weeks ago and now I decided to give their Weizen a shot.

Appearance - Very very yellow! I am used to a bit more orange but its look is unique and interesting especially when the off white to tan head comes up.

Smell - I really enjoyed this smell! It has the scent of berries, crisp lemons, and wheat.

Taste - The taste is great at first of the same flavors of the smell but it disappears to a very flat metalic taste. Only if the first flavors stuck around for a minute or two..

Mouthfeel - A good amount of carbonation to match and keeps the flavor continued.

Overall - This is delicious smelling beer, one of the best scents out there but everything else seems to lack a bit. (720 characters)

Poured into a pint glass, it has a nice clear golden body with little carbonation and a beautiful, thick off white head which is bubbly and slowly dissipates. I pick up hints of banana bread, hops, and some citrus fruits to include: grapes, grapefruit and oranges. It has a medium to heavy body that just envelopes your tongue and really warms up your mouth with that alcohol feeling. It’s bitter in the corners of your mouth and tart in its aftertaste, but fairly smooth overall. (482 characters)

Too hoppy for me. Over powers the yeast flavor. (48 characters)
