Pours a slightly hazy pale straw color. Looks just like a BMC. Aroma is of fresh tropical citrus, pineapple, mango, and also big peach notes. Piney spicyness also involved in the aroma. Big piney hop bitterness up front to go along with a slightly sweet but mostly dry malt backbone. At first I thought this was like the little brother of Sucks, but the more I drink on it it becomes very obvious that there are some serious similarities to Hop Stoopid here. Very similar hop profile. A well done session IPA, or whatever. Probably the best I've had.

Wow... Very strong and hoppy aroma with herbal, floral and weedy elements. Has the power of a double IPA. The flavor packs plenty of hops but is, of course, not as intense as the aroma suggests...not as bitter, having only a mild bitterness. Also a bit more fruity.
O: extraordinary version of a session ipa, with plenty of flavor and a remarkably full and strong aroma.
Best of this specific style (so far). Would earn a higher rating but for my preference for a fruitier hop mix.

I've said it before and I'm saying it again, founders all day is the standard by which session india pale ales must be measured, and while this one doesn't quite pop like that one, its pretty close in terms of its original mission, hop flavor and drinkability, and is probably the next best thing. pours pale and super light yellow, whitish, i was worried it would be a hoppy pilsener malt beer, and was afraid of that prospect, but its just very pale malt. the hop nose is citrusy in the all day family really, a little less forward and a little less pungent, but same vibe. the flavor is light in the grain, amped up in the hops. citrusy hops easily overtake an almost flavorless pale malt, finishing fruity rather than bitter, supremely refreshing, but this is almost too light. not much on the body, but the carbonation is excellent and the finish is clean. a well made brew, i like that these are getting popular. not as good as all day, but one of the closest seconds around.
