Serviceable IPA on tap at The Cannery Row. Some European hop, citrus fruity, citra like aroma. Spicy which lends taste at this surprisingly low abv. Little sweetness, this is bitter heavy. Medium bodied. Cloudy yellow with some retained head. Not so drinkable, even after it warmed, but served too cold.

Damn, Lagunitas hits it again with this brew! Served with a nice sized foamy, cream-colored head that slowly settles to a light cover and lots of lace. Color is a clear, pale gold with plenty of bubble trails. Aroma is a very pleasing and aromatic blend of hop, malt, caramel, fruit, citrus, with a bit of pine. Flavor's like nose, sweet/bitter/carbonic tang all perfectly balanced. Body is perhaps a trifle thin, carbonation is great. Finish is like flavor, average length, and superbly drinkable.

Reviewed from notes. Poured from 12 oz. bottle into a CCB pint glass.

A: Hazy light gold, with a good amount of visible carbonation that leads to a medium-sized white foamy head.

S: Citrus, lemon, grassy, spicy hops. Just a bit of light cracker malt in the background. Excellent.

T: Follows the nose. Lemony citrus, grassy and dank hops. A bit of light cracker malt fights to make it balanced but ultimately loses; I'm not sure that's a negative here. Very tasty. The hang is a light dank bitterness.

M: Light body, good carbonation sensation, no alcohol presence.

O: This is tasty, very tasty. Sessionable, and one I would enjoy sessioning (is that a word?). The only real negative I have to report is a quality control issue. One of the bottles in the six pack was absolutely, completely flat. No hint of carbonation. The other five were wonderful. Don't know what happened there, but that was disappointing.

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down a bit but left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: There are moderate aromas of citrus in the nose—grapefruit and oranges seem to stand out in particular.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and also has some hints of pine resin hops towards the finish. A light to moderate amount of bitterness is present.
M: It feels a bit shy of medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is extremely easy to drink and quite flavorful, especially considering its low alcohol content. I would have no problem drinking several of these in one sitting.

From notes taken at brewery yesterday, where it was listed at 4.6% ABV :

Pours a clear golden colour with decent carbonation, but not as many amber highlights as I'd personally choose for a beer of this style. An excellent hop-forward aroma of citrus and tropical fruits. Unfortunately the flavour isn't as well balanced, a bit thin and astringent in the bitter finish, and in the body missing some of the malt backbone typical of an APA.

Still a very flavourful beer for this low ABV and one I would definitely purchase again.

Poured into a 13 oz tulip glass. Pours a straw yellow, with a half inch of white head, leaves some lace. Smell is mango, tangerine, pine, and grass. Taste isn't as big as the smell, but still nice with everything in it from the nose. Body is light, plenty of carbonation, a little dry, and obviously incredibly drinkable. This is a solid light IPA, would enjoy more from June until September.

This beer is surprisingly light in color, and extremely pale, clear yellow though tinted with gold. It's got a simultaneously fluffy and craggy pure white head that rises to just over one finger, displays good retention, never fading from a thick layer of foam, and leaves craggy patches of lacing.
It smells like ganja. Honestly, this aroma is extremely raw and pretty intense, though not heavy. Lots of leafy and earthy rawness, as well as rind and a bit of spiciness, is displayed in the hops bouquet...
which translates almost precisely to the flavor. That rind really comes through, with lots of pith. There's just a touch of breadiness backing it and adding some balance.
Light-bodied but not weak, this beer offers a mostly crisp mouthfeel without neglecting smoothness, which comes through nicely out of a moderate carbonation.
