In a mug, cellar temperature.
It has a short-lived, two-finger white head that I would describe as "sudsy" and a golden amber body with some fine sediment floating around.
Smells like honey, lemon, orange, and maybe a bit of mango. Some sweet breadiness, too.
Tangy orange strikes my palate first, then changing to a bready, honeyed biscuit-kind-of-maltiness, and finishing splendidly with a dry bitterness. Citrusy, bready, and delicious.
The feel is medium-bodied and on the lesser side of the carbonation spectrum. I like it.
This has a superb balance of the essential IPA characteristics. It's perfectly fruity, bready, and bitter. I'd place it near, if not at the top of, the class of American IPAs.
