Deep reddish-orange with a with a yellow tinged light tan head. Head is well structured but drops quickly to about a quarter inch leaving lace all over.
Aroma is full of spicy and green hop notes along with bready malts, also starring in the aroma are resins, bourbon, herbs, butter and a touch of raw eggs.
Taste is actually pretty balanced, buttery sweetnes blended with softly prickling hops, vanilla (oakiness), and a long wet/dry finish. Nice bitterness at the end.
Mouthfeel is medium light. I don't know how drinkable it is, in spite of the huge buttery quality it is still quite enjoyable, at least in small quantities.
