Has on tap at Lures

A-Pours copper with an off-white head that fades with reasonable lacing.

S-Nose is fresh citric hop aroma, light pine, citric tang, orange, grass.

T-Nice taste of orange sherbet, lemon peel, grassy citric hoppings, citric tinged straw, light tropicals.

M-mouthfeel is Medium bodied, fine carbonation, grassy hop bitterness in the finale.

O-Decent easy drinking IPA. Another fine brew by lagunitas!

Bottle into snifter

Appearance - A golden mix of yellow and orange, honey, about 1/2 finger white head settles nicely leaving a ring.

Smell - Grapefruit and orange citrus, malt, spice.

Taste - Grapefruit pungent and bitter at first then it leads into a a malty roastiness almost a little sweet but not overwhelming, lemon and orange zest notes and some alcohol rises from the palate towards the end.

Mouthfeel - Medium carbonation, Medium bodied, refreshing and crisp.

Overall - Good beer. Flavorful, refreshing, definitely not my personal favorite but it's available year round and reliable in terms of its characteristics.

Poured a golden amber with a 3/4" head. thin lacing.
Smell - an almost typical high quality IPA with citrus and pine notes..and something else I can't put my finger on.
Taste - quite good, a nice hop assult up front with a almost dry finish it's different type of finish I think it has to do with the type of malt that I can't identify, still very well balanced, I would say it coats the pallet instead of drying it like a traditional IPA.
Mouthfell is full and carbinated!
I normally don't purchase this beer cause if it shows up an the shelf it dissapears!! So I jumped at the chance and it was well worth it! Say it with me ...Lah-goo-KNEE-tuss

Aroma: Light lemongrass, slightly piney character up front. A bready malt base asserts itself and there are some slight yeast notes as well which makes me think of fresh bread dough. Aroma is kind of muddled between the hop aromas, malt character, and yeast notes.

Appearance: Crystal clear golden-amber pour with a nice 1-finger off white head. Head retention is good and lacing is nice on the glass. Effervescence noted as it sits in the glass.

Flavor: Soft orange juice-like flavors up front with a jostling back and forth of juicy sweetness and pithy citrus bitterness. A fresh bread dough malt base again asserts itself. Firm hop bitterness leaves the beer appropriately balanced with more piney hop resin flavor after it warms. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is long, lingering, and bitter.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. No creaminess, oiliness, or alcohol heat.

Overall impression: A well crafted, balanced American IPA. Pretty tame even by Lagunitas current standards. Enjoyable but slips into the "sea of same-ness" with other American IPA's.
