Pours the color of golden straw. Has a deep amber resonance and looks like a bar of gold int he glass. Fat, rambunctious head of white foam that fell like it had all day. Left spectacular clinging lace. A true beauty to behold.

Nose is sweet citrus with a tart edge. lemon and orange. There are tropical notes behind the citrus but it's the zesty fresh scent of citrus peel that makes this one so tempting. It's like shaved orange peel that is damp and sweet. There's a light malt with a touch of honey. Touch of spice pine and a strong earthy scent. Sweet & floral.

taste is delectable. All that fruit greets the palate and the sweetness hangs on as it's washed to back by the light biscuit malt. I like that the malt in this one never goes to caramel and doesn't overshadow the natural fruit sweetness. There's a nice moderate hop bitter. It's not aggressive and it it starts with a little oil at the back of the throat but the resin and pine remains light throughout.

This is a terrific IPA that has plenty to offer in the way of a well crafted hop experience. The fruit was sharp and pungent on the nose and leads you into a drink that has all it's elements complimenting one another. The body is full but on the lighter side and smooth. The palate is full of enthusiasm.

Pale golden straw, extremely bubbly, almost completely transparent. Beautiful thick foamy white head, about two fingers, with good retention and excellent lacing.

Big hoppy aroma. Tons of citrus, some tropical fruit in the nose, and a strong note of honey.

Strong hop bite, less fruity than the nose implies. Not a ton of citrus peel, and just a bare hint of that honey flavor. Very little malt balance to speak of, although a bit of caramel and biscuit does sneak in.

Refreshing, dry yet slightly cloying. This beer definitely paves the way for more. Mild sting, dry and peel-y aftertaste.

This is a solid IPA, right on the verge of greatness to me. There's almost nothing that warrants a complaint, but very little stands out as an exemplar of the style. This could easily be an every day IPA for me, and with a little more floral or fruity sweetness, it would be outstanding.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

Pours a clear deep golden color with a good two fingers of fluffy off white head. Smells strongly of hops. Lots of pine and earth notes. Slight malt aroma as well. Taste, right upfront there is a malt sweetness, not what I expected. This fades into a lingering resin-like bitterness in the finish. I'll be honest there's not much to the flavor in my opinion. Medium body and medium carbonation. For my taste there is a noticeable lack of hop flavor. Overall a decent beer, however slightly disappointing.
