Bar none the best beer store in southern California. Amazing selection of beer!. A saw a lot of stuff that was still on the shelf that was sold out pretty much everywhere else. Good prices and all the beer that needed to be in the cold box was. The owner Jazz is a real pleasure to deal with. He knows his stuff and is very happy to help you look for stuff or make suggestions. He also had a very nice collection of glass ware for sale.

I will be stopping at this place every time I am in the area. If your from out of town this could easily be your one stop to find everything.

This is a craft beer shop in Corona off the 15. I used to golf at Eagle Glen, Glen Ivy and Dos Lagos and was in the area all the time but was not into craft beer at that time. Now I drink craft beer but don't play golf much. :)

From the outside, it doesn't look like much. Inside the selection is definitely of quality. The prices were on par for most.

I think half the beers were refrigerated and the other half on shelves. If I lived closer I'd be here more often. I'm usually picky with what I buy, but I was happy with my purchase. Very nice selection they have here. I'll return again when in the area.

Just visited El Cerrito tonight since I am on a business trip to California and looking for some local brews I can't get in my home state of Florida. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed as I browsed their vast selection of beers when the owner, Jazz, asked if I needed any help. I inquired if he had any Russian River offerings since these are basically unicorn beers on the East Coast. He literally went behind the counter and opened a case of Temptation that had just arrived. He also told me that they had recently gotten a shipment of Pliny the Elder but that, as expected, it had flown off the shelves. After talking for a few more minutes, he told me to hang on a second; that he was going to check in the back to see if he had held on to any bottles for himself. Keep in mind I'm not a repeat customer with a long history with this guy. In fact, since I'm here on business, who knows when I'll be back. He came back and gave me a bottle out of his own personal stash!! This type of service is unheard of these days. Jazz, if you read this, thanks again and I'll definitely see you if/when I make it back this way. To the beer aficionados in the Corona area, you are lucky to have a business like El Cerrito so close!!

It's a liquor store first. Beer mecca second. Some great beers but limited to 20 percent of store. Lots of bruery beers. Too busy for staff to help you and no comments from the checker. Good beer but not great vibe.

Went here on Monday (Jan 19th) because i have wanted to come here for at least 3 years now but never drive that way on the 15. Any way I was very impressed by the selection. Cantillon, Evil Twin, Russian River, and a lot of limited releases. They don't get a lot of the hard to find over seas beers that La Bodega seems to get a hold of but they do have a lot of beers that they don't get.

My gripe with this place was that it was pretty unorganized. Beers were just on the shelf not stacked nice or anything but in with other beers of the same company just thrown on there mixed up. Also they seem to have just gotten a shipment that day and there were boxes everywhere blocking a lot of beers I wanted to look at. Also theirs this section behind the counter in the corner that is just full of crap and boxes and there is cabinets of what seems to be the guys personal collection because I saw a bunch of reserve society beers.

The staff seemed to be your typical non specialty liquor store staff. Didn't talk to any one who really seemed to know or be passionate about beer or even spirits/wine for that matter. This place is great don't get me wrong just not exceptional as a few other places that I have been that really seem to be passionate about their beer/organized.

I visited El Cerrito in November 2014 after the Pugachev's Cobra release. I kept hearing great things about it, so I decided to check it out. Frankly, I was a bit disappointed. Now don't get me wrong; they do have a decent craft beer selection, but it's not all that. Their beer selection doesn't even begin to compare with what you'll find at La Bodega, Mr. K's, Hacienda, or Plaza Market. That's what surprises me about their BA Score of: "100 world-class". I can't believe how many "5" ratings they have on here. Really? So there are that many BA's that feel this store is perfect, with absolutely no room to improve? I've got nothing against this establishment, I just can't understand why this place gets so much love.

Been here a few times, not the cleanest place, and I did not get the service I have heard others speak about, but they have a very good selection of beer, liquor, and wine. Often times there are unopened boxes of beer in the beer aisle, bottles are dusty, glassware is dusty. Besides the selection nothing really stands out here, prices are average some of the rarer beers are little higher and most of the beer is refrigerated. It's worth a visit the selection does not disappoint as they have one of the best in the Inland Empire.

This is a place I always stop at on my way down to San Diego. I never miss it. And I always stop on the way back a few days later just to make sure nothing new hit the shelves. Jazz has a good stock of a lot of good stuff. Overall this is just an amazing craft beer store.

Stopped in here on the way into town, I had heard amazing things so I was really looking forward to checking it out. Not the most beautiful looking place from the outside but really nice once you get inside. Tons of wine and liquor in the first few isles, beer in the last one. Atmosphere was laid back with lots of people coming and going. Service was solid all around. I was asked if I needed any help and he was nice enough to point out a few things I may have overlooked. Quality and selection were both quite high. I didn't see any out of date beers and they even offer some proper glassware for some of their beers. Selection was really solid. They had everything from the everyday beers of the west coast to some really rare beers I have never seen on a shelf anywhere else but here. Prices were a touch high on the rarer bottles but all of the others were reasonable so I can't knock it too much. Overall probably the best bottle shop I have come across on this trip. I just wish it was a little closer to where we are staying, I would love to go back.

Best bottle shop in the Inland Empire and possibly Southern California (I haven't found a better one). Great selection, fairly priced, and Jazz is very knowledgeable and always helpful. Posts new beers on Instagram and FB to notify customers. All IPAs are refrigerated and cellar-able beer is on the shelves. They also have a great selection of bourbon and other spirits.

A hidden gem for sure.If I didn't do some research before visiting the area I probably would of never stopped by.At first you get the impression it's just an old liquor store where you can grab a bag of chips and your run of the mill brew.Once you go in deeper you start to see the goodies on the last isle. From 'evil twin' to 'the bruery' to 'lost abbey' etc etc etc....If you stop by you deffinetly want to speak with Jazz.He will take care of you and your needs.

I don't give out fives for selection, but this one deserves it. They recently expanded in a big way, including an enormous walk-in fridge. Jazz kills it, and this is the best bottle shop in California by far. They pretty much have every single beer imaginable (and that's available in CA), and they will often have older vintages for a bit of extra money. For example, they just had older Double Bastard (2013) , Old Guardian (2012), an W00tStout ('15 and '16). I can't say enough about the place.
