Poured from a 12 oz can into a pint glass- pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with less than a finger of head, minimal retention and nice lacing. Pretty but the lack of head is a little disappointing.
Smell is lovely- citrusy hops and sweet malt.
Taste is much the same as the nose- citrusy hop notes balanced by malt sweetness. To my mind this is more of a pale ale than an IPA. Mild bitterness. Goes back and forth between the sweetness of the grain and the hops.
Mouthfeel is very nice- medium light body with moderate carbonation. As a previous BA said, the carbonation helps a lot. This is a pretty average IPA that should be a pale (average meaning better than goose island and harpoon bit nowhere near the big boys like headhunter or sculpin). There are other Midwest beers that are better but if you're looking for something nice to drink, this will do you fine.

Poured from 12 oz can dated 5/30/2014 into tulip glass. My first one from Revolution Brewing, and I've heard good things about them.
A: Pours a golden honey brown with a one finger white head with lasting retention. Some spotty lacing.
S: Pineapple and grapefruit combined with honey and caramel.
T: Quick punch of citrus with some grapefruit and pineapple. A bit of sweet biscuit malts, and a little hop bitter bite at the end.
M: Medium body with average carbonation. Slight bitter finish. Very refreshing.
O: Solid IPA. Not quite as hop forward as I would have liked, but I would pick this one up again.
