My wife brough a six pack of Anti-hero back to Maine from me when she was in Chicago recently. It has been in the fridge since it came out of her luggage. I let it warm slightly before pouring vigorously into a pint glass.
The beer is clear and has a copper/orange color. Lots of rising and clinging carbonation. A good sized head rests above the top of my glass. As it settles, decent lacing is left behind.
The beer has a citrusy, resiny hop aroma. It leads me to believe that this will be a bitter beer.
This is a good west coast style IPA. Big hop flavors. There is a touch of caramel sweetness. Citrus and floral bitterness linger.
The beer has some noticeable hop oils, but the coating left behind is not too thick. The beer has a medium body and good level of carbonation.
This is a desirable IPA. If you want well-drinking hop bomb out of middle America, seek this one out.

Poured from 12 oz can dated 5/30/2014 into tulip glass. My first one from Revolution Brewing, and I've heard good things about them.
A: Pours a golden honey brown with a one finger white head with lasting retention. Some spotty lacing.
S: Pineapple and grapefruit combined with honey and caramel.
T: Quick punch of citrus with some grapefruit and pineapple. A bit of sweet biscuit malts, and a little hop bitter bite at the end.
M: Medium body with average carbonation. Slight bitter finish. Very refreshing.
O: Solid IPA. Not quite as hop forward as I would have liked, but I would pick this one up again.

My first review of a Revolution brew, had a few of these while in Chicago for work. Color was a copper-orange, lighter than many IPAs. The taste and aroma were very piney, with some slight citrus. The hops were borderline underwhelming for this beer, could've definitely used more. Very approachable IPA, and while I don't expect IPAs to be too strong, I could use more than this.
