A very good IPA, one of the better ones that I have ever tried. The citrus and tropical fruit notes are awesome and the malt bill is pseudo east-coast, the piney resins are hanging right in there with the best west coast options. I am a fan of summit hops(love the melon flavor) they blend well with the other varieties showcased here. The nose is a little weak for an ipa with strong citrus and tropical notes, love the malt bill, it is just right. Carbonation is good. Overall this is one of my favorite IPA's out there, I love the balance or lack of it depending on you you like you hop/malt profile. A very solid brew that I will be hunting out again.

Pours light brown with a two to three finger head. Orangey and light to the nose. The taste is smooth at first impact and finishes with a buttery sweet aftertaste. The orangey flavors work well to counter-balance the booziness. It is on the lighter side, as far as IPA's are concerned, but it still possesses enough body to be considered one. Overall, this is a very drinkable beer. It might benefit from a bit more complexity taste-wise, but at its reasonable price, I'm not complaining.

Thanks to Tricerahops for this one.

Poured from a 12oz can, canned 02/15/2014.

A light chill haze on a gold body; solid 3-4 fingers worth of foam. Aroma is sweet hops, caramel, pineapple. Flavor has some mango, pineapple as well as sweet side of hops, fresh lemon. Feel is a bit dry and on the malty side. Good IPA but lacks a little oomph to it.

A: shiny orange marmalade, finger white head,
delightful lacing

S: pine, orange peel, mango,
sweet biscuit malt

T: orange/mango, sweet malt, long bitter pine

M: med body, oily/sticky mouth

O: Scrumptious local IPA! This is constantly
in our bar fridge. Revolution is a fine
brewery that may be flying under the radar.

DELICIOUS; GET SOME!

dark amber, lots of head. very little carbonation.
i'm getting a lot of lemon, then grapefruit on this one for a smell.
taste has an up front, and lingering, mild bitterness. grapefruit. lemon. some bread. some stickiness and resin.
overall, a nice brew. light on the palate, easy to drink. another really good brew from 'out there'...
