Picked this up on my recent trip to Chicago.
Poured into a Samuel Adams glass a transparent burnt yellow with a two finger head. Good head retention and lacing. My nose is bad, but I detect a hop presence in the scent. The taste is is a well balanced hop variety and fairly strong for a regular AIPA. I little more on the piney hop than the floural hop, but none the less very nice. Mouthfeel is a little smaller than medium bodied making this a very sessionable AIPA.

A: orangey copper, clear liquid... nice lace
S: smells like an old country store: old wood, cloth, paper, light perfumy notes... tree nut skin... raspberry Jolly Rancher
T: pretty straight up NW IPA: woody, piney... bit of herbal raspberry hard candy... Centennial resiny... touch of bitterness and alcohol in the finish and aftertaste... dark, sweet orange peel and creme
M: medium-bodied and soft-frothy... cardboard dry with a moderate, lingering alcohol warmth
O: textbook, solid west coast IPA
Serving type: on-tap
