Can dated 6/16 into pint glass

*Full disclosure. I lived in Chicago for 10 years and started loving craft beers while Revolution was growing up. I may be a bit of a "homer" on this one.

A- Pale gold. Clean filtered. Slight head that recededs quickly. Minimal lacing
S- Hop forward. Citrus & pine resin
T- Piney hops, but not over powering. Great citrus taste near the end. Finishing with that slightly bitter hops.
M- Smooth and very drinkable.

O- Love this IPA. Clean and crisp. Straight foward IPA goodness.

On tap at Bistro On Main in Kent, OH. Served in a tall narrow glass....not quite a pint glass but not a stange either. Hard to describe.

Appearance: Clear amber-orange with some fine strands of lacing. Foam (off white) died back early on.

Smell: Orange and grapefruit citrus with some floral notes as well.

Taste: Hoppy. Lots of citrus flavors but definitely some malt balance as well. Good citrus finish - fresh orange zest with some mild tropical fruit notes in the background.

Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, nice thickness, not too sticky on the teeth.

Overall / Drinkability: Had two over the course of an evening - very drinkable. Full flavored, but not overpowering nor too bitter. Hoppy, but with enough malt backbone to make it very drinkable. Went well with food (ricotta gnocchi).

12 oz. can poured into a pint glass

A-Pours a clear, gold with a nicely laced finger or so of foam which dissipated by 1/2 in the first 30 seconds or so.

S-Great piney, citrus/orange rind aromas.

T-Similar to the smell with perhaps a little more citrus and some nice, spicy characteristics as well. I detect some biscuit nearer the end.

M-Medium carbonation which is pleasant. A touch thinner than I remember this one. Nice drinker that still has some substance to it.

O-I circle back to this one probably about once a month for a hoppy, can beer that isn't TOO crazy. It's also local to me which earns it some extra points. I'd like to review Revolution Brewery some time as well. I love that place but it's been too long.
