An American hop assault for all the ambivalent warriors who get the girl in the end. “Look, I ain't in this for your revolution, and I'm not in it for you, Princess.” This iconic ale features a blend of four hop varieties which creates a crisp bitterness and imparts massive floral and citrus aromas.

12oz can with no date printed on any of the cans in the 6-pack. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with one finger of head that had good retention before settling to a thin film. Some sticky lacing is left down the glass.

Aroma is all hops. Slightly dank but a lot of floral and citrus hints. A real nice combination.

Flavor is an outstanding combination of hop flavors. I pick up plenty of floral and citrus hints and it has a nice dankness that I particularly enjoy in IPAs. The malt is on the dry side and adds little in the way of flavor.

Surprisingly light in body for the ABV. Also feels just a tad lazy in carbonation. It is good but not a great aspect of the beer.

The hop flavor hits the target for me. Some of the properties of the beer knock the score down a bit.

Baltic amber pour with dense off white head.

Aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, lemon Pledge, sugar and piney. Nice aromatic bouquet.

Delightful balance of malt and hop. Dank and catty In the middle and piney resin in the back. Rather a safe attempt ie. missing some pizzaz or sparkle.

Light to medium bodied leaning towards accentuating malt. Some slickness.

Overall a solid IPA. I believe it needs more a fruit flavor approach and less malt. The nose is great and then I'm expecting the taste to follow and it don't happen. About as fresh as can be and it's local so why the hell not. Good backyard BBQ quaff that wouldn't offend say the BMC locals.
