Big thanks to beersndrums for this one!
12 oz can poured into a tulip at fridge-cellar temperature.
L – Pale amber color with a 2-finger bubbly white head that hangs around for a little while. There’s some decent lacing to show for it. Clear with a decent amount of bubbles.
S – There’s some caramel malt here along with a very interesting hop profile. It’s tough to put my finger on exactly what’s going on here but it smells like grapefruit, some orange, some pine, and a touch of some herbal or floral aromas. Regardless of it being tough to figure out, it smells good.
T – It starts off sweet with caramel, almost cake-like malt and then the hops come marching in. It starts off with orange, then grapefruit and some pineapple, then pine, and finally finishing up with some spicy, herbal, and floral flavors. Bitterness builds throughout this wonderful progression. Tasty and balanced beer.
F – Medium-bodied, good carbonation, a sticky and chewy mouthfeel, and a bittersweet and dry finish. Bitter grapefruit and herbal hops linger for a while.
O – This is a nice IPA. Even though it has a bunch of hops, it ends up tasting and smelling quite balanced due to the strength of the sweet malts and the milder aromas and flavors involved with herbal and floral hops. It’s really a well-crafted and very drinkable beer. This is my first taste of anything from Revolution, and I’d definitely be interested in trying some more of their beers. Thanks for the beer and for introducing me to a new brewery, Jared!

Gorgeous amber/red orange in appearance and pours a thick, but quickly dissipating three-finger head.
Smells like a hop bomb and I ain't hesitating. Citrusy, juicy, and sticky hops dominate the overall aroma.
Perfect. The perfect combination of the explosive hops mixed with the tart/sweet of citrus, brewed to perfect.
Blown away by the full on hop assault.
Overall one of my favorite Chi-Town brews and perfect all around, in my opinion, of course.
