Appearance: golden straw color. Very clear transparent look. Half a finger of head on the pour which was present on the sides of the glass while drinking. Creamy lacing at each level after drinking.
Smell: earthy grains and yeast jumps out of the glass. Slightly spicy hop profile. Malt comes off with an interesting musty sweetness.
Taste: leafy greens and buttery yeast shine through. A medium to heavy body lingers on the palate. The malt sweetness blasts through on the back end of this brew. really pleasant earthy tones ride throughout.
Mouthfeel: easy drinking and refreshing but with plenty of full body to keep the palate entertained.
Overall: a lot of great things going on here. Great Mouthfeel with a ton of traditional flavors. Really enjoyed all the Revolution beers I have had so far.

The beer is fairly hazy, appearing copper to orange hued with an off-white head. The aroma offers malt, sweet and sour apples, green, earth. Earth and mineral water character. Perhaps a mild tartness. Medium bodied, finishing dry with a hint of spice. Overall, this was okay.

22oz bottle dated 5/23/13 poured into a pint glass
A: Average orange color with a one-finger head and decent carbonation
S: Sour green apples, fresh malt, a touch of wet earth
T: Sour apple up front along with a nice earthy/floral mix and mats to back it up. Few if any hops, the acidity is pronounced along with a fairly long finish
M: Light to medium bodied, sour with pleasant carbonation
O: This may be too sour for some but I'm trying to explore Belgian styles and I like acidity so for me this is a very enjoyable beer to contemplate
