Poured from a 22oz bottle into two pint glasses. Thanks to pops for the assist!
A: Pours a beautiful brassy gold. Decent cloudiness underneath two fingers of off-white foam. Retention was very good, but not too much lace was left behind.
S: Major hops. We could smell this sitting on the kitchen counter right after we took the cap off. Loads of citrus and spicy pine. Lurking underneath all of the hoppiness was a faint whiff of brown sugar.
T: See above. Pine and citrus hops permeate every single taste bud on m'tongue.
M: Big bitter blast of hops that is kept in line by the aforementioned brown sugar sweetness. That sweetness does a great job of making the alcohol absolutely transparent.
O: An excellent and supremely drinkable DIPA. They hit the ground running with this one.
