22 oz bottle courtesy of clewis901 pours a clear copper color with an ample cap of off-white head.
Nose is piney and fruity with a hefty dose of toffee malts. Little bit of sweetness mixes with some serious hop aroma...think grapefruit Blow Pop....if they existed.
Ohhh, taste is smooth as silk with a minty hop presence and malts that range from caramel to toast to biscuit. I like it, goes down really easy and it has a great flow - in fact, it doesnt really have a beginning, middle and end. It is really just one solid dose of well balanced hop/malt flavors. Its a little thin on the mouthfeel, but other than that I am enjoying this beer quite a bit. The sum is better than the parts I think in this case, as nothing really stands out - but I'll be damned if I wouldnt want this one in my fridge on a regular basis.
