Our rye IPA is clean and refreshing, brewed with 2-row malt and flaked rye for toasty, nutty undertones up front, but with a huge hop flavor and aroma from the Amarillo and Fuggle hops.

Had on tap in a pint glass at Irish TImes. I am not going to do the typical ASTMO review. It has a light rye taste up front then hop take over. Grassy, orange, burnt sugar, and a little astringent. It's a solid four. I honestly perfer FFF rye the tiger over this one, which is hard for me to say.

A clean golden pour with a finger if head which quickly dissipated. Smells like toasty bread and leafy greens.. A bit of caramel sweetness is in there too... And a bit nutty. The flavor is bitter up front with a sweet barley and toasty rye being the showcase here. A little sweet for a rye beer, and not as hoppy as I was hoping for but drinks very smoothly and feels session able even though the abv is high (but not present). Medium body with higher carbonation.
A tasty treat with a very cool name. We're gonna have a tv party tonight!

A: Rich clear copper with decent head that lingers around for a bit.

S: Faint rye spice with tropical fruit dominating (grapefruit, mango, pineapple, light tangerine). Some carbonic bite.

T: Some rye upfront with some tropical fruit. Bready rye in the finish. I get some metallic sensation too.

M: Crisp and easy to drink.

O: Pretty good but not too blown away.

A - crystal clear golden orange in a tulip. 1 stream of carbonation from the bottom.

S - citrus and grapefruit strong hops. Delightfully complex. Some very light malts on the nose as well.

T - amazing. The rye and the hops balance in a wonderful combination that make this beer world class. I am reminded of a better version of 3F rye da tiger. I could drink this all day. The malt comes through but the beer finishes with an exquisite bitterness that keeps you coming back.

M - carbonation is right on. Mouthfeel is good.

O - one of the best beers I've had in a while. It would stand up well to some very good hoppy beers. Happy to have had it on draft at the brewery.

bottled Jan 23, 2014.

A: Fully translucent apricot orange body with a bright white milky head that settles into a small layered rim but has incredible retention. This looks beautiful.

S: Tons of tangerine-like amarillo hops jump out of the glass. Juicy oranges. This one is all sweet fruits and hops - not much malt presence in the waft.

T: A bit of caramel and bready malts upfront but the juicy hops linger in the finish. Bubble gum. Oranges. Tangerines.

M: Medium body. Prickly heavy carbonation. Oily. Sticky. Clean. Crisp. Refreshing.

O: Revolution shoots and scores again - quickly becoming one of my top breweries in the midwest. This is incredibly refreshing and clean. I'd love to smash 4 or 5 of these by the pool in the summer.
