Was in this neck of the woods after my Son's soccer game today & needed some lunch
This place had a pretty nice Americana vibe with some beer friendliness thrown in. There is a decent beer garden out back, the place is a bar/cafe/souvenir stand in the down town area, very route 66. Loads of games for the kids, some good coverage of flat screen for the sports junkie. Where else are you gonna get craft beer, lotto tickets, knock off swords, stun guns & dream catchers in the same place?
Service recovered once the guy realized we weren't taken care of. The Bartender liked talking beer, although he had much to learn. Make sure to requested an non-chilled mug
Both of the beers I had were in fine form.
20 Drafts, 5 Oklahoma craft selections, only 1 or 2 wasted taps at the most; plus over a 100 bottled offerings, Someone is trying hard here!
The food was pretty good, typical Midwest diner stuff. I liked my sausage hamburger & the fries were a hit; the wife said the hot wings were pre-prepared, not home made. Selection is not mind blowing, but good enough for my needs. Food comes with a small or large option, think small unless you are starving
Beers & food were reasonably priced.
Not a beer destination, but worth checking out if close, wish this place was in my town!
