Been a big fan of Laurelwood beers and food since they opened there first location in Portland's Hollywood district. However the new location lacks the special feel that the 2 NE Portland locations have. The beer is the same but the service and quality of the food is poor at this location.

Still have all the great Laurelwood beers and they are worth the drive to Battle Groud for, but I would pass on the food the next time I'm there, if I don't just drive 20 minute to Portland and go to one of their other locations.

The exterior looks pretty good...new building...has a church feel to it. Good outdoor seating. Had a nice time basking in the sun on the patio but nowhere to shade my beer, unfortunately.

Very high ceilings in the restaurant. The bar is tucked in the east side of the bar. I wish there was more of a distinguishing wall between this and the restaurant.

There are a good number of taps on draft, growlers to go, and merchandise.

The food was good, nothing special. The service was great. The bartender was very attentive and a good guy. Gave me some cool coasters to take with me.
