Classic stubby 11.2oz bottle poured into a Shaker pint glass. While there were some numbers stamped on the neck, it wasn't obvious what they meant.
Appearance: Clear pale straw yellow beer, plenty of bubbles coming up through the beer. Vigorous pour gave 1/4" thick white head, which died down to a thin white foam across the top. Some strands of lacing here and there.
Smell: Not much going on - some hints of malt and a tiny bit of corn graininess.
Taste: Simple malty flavor up front with a crisp finish. Maybe a hint of something earthy at the end, which I'm guessing is the mild hops used.
Mouthfeel: A bit on the fizzy side - really scrubs the tongue. Otherwise watery.
Drinkability: Hooray Beer! Seriously - not to bad. Went well with a spicy Chinese dish (Kung Pao pork) and I suspect it would go well with a lot of other spicy dishes. Not a very flavorful beer, but washes things down nicely.
