2014 vintage; drank 8/25/14 @ Fischman's.
Clear orange color.
White head; nice lace.
Raspberry, pineapple & caramel nose.
Thick mouthfeel.
Raspberry, pineapple, honey & caramel flavors; oak & booze notes emerge as this warms.
A bit messy but flavorful & interesting.

The beer is extremely enjoyable, but it is a misrepresentation of the style. It smells/drinks like a DIPA with slight barleywine features (sweet maltiness, subtle vanilla and oak) rather than a hoppy barleywine, and that is after being (unintentionally) aged for a year and a half. One would think that the aging would enhance the barleywine features and down play the hoppy/cirtrusy DIPA-like features, but that does not appear to be the case. Honestly, it tastes like a classic 3Floyds sweet/malty/cirtrusy DIPA.
Again, tasty, but a liar! :)

Look - Honey amber. Head fades into some nice lacing on top.
Smell - Toffee, caramel, vanilla and some nutmeg.
Taste - My bottle was over a year old. I still got a little hops. Mostly more toffee. and caramel. Little bit of a hint of booziness in the finish.
Feel - Creamy butterscotch feel to it.
Overall - A solid collaboration between the two breweries. Surprisingly quite enjoyable with some time on it.. Doesn't hold up as well as a Bigfoot, but nicely done!
