An ever-evolving mix of experimental hops, designed to deliver mind-blowing flavors that break the rules with each new release. The unique revolution number on the label tells you which release you have in hand. Crack fresh and enjoy the show.
Luponic Distortion Revolution No. 001 features a blend of six different hop cultivars from the 2015 harvest, with an emphasis on a zesty tropical fruit-driven experimental hop to create something entirely unique. A wheat malt base provides a clean canvas for showcasing a pure hop character. Aromas of pineapple, papaya and citrus creamsicle explode out of the glass. Resinous undertones yield to flavors of candied mango, red grapefruit zest and fresh green tea, all dissipating quickly into a clean, dry finish.
Luponic Distortion is best if enjoyed within 90 days of its bottling date.

Love this beer. Nice blast of tropical fruit aroma - non descript fruits, maybe a bit of pineapple/mango. This beer has a bunch of late hop additions no doubt. My guess is they used a bunch of Citra and Mosaic but so far FW has not disclosed the hop profile for this brew. The taste is very fruity, very hoppy but not overly bitter but clearly an IPA - a perfectly balanced West Coast pale ale. I did not know it was a wheat beer until I read the description above. The mouth feel is perfect - a bit like Little Sumpin Sumpin but lighter for sure. Definitely give this one a try. I would love to get this on tap.

12 oz can. Pours golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head. Aroma is of citrusy hops, bready malt and lemon. Body is medium and crisp. Herbal hops dominate the palate with bready malt and tropical fruit in the background. Finish is long and dry. Good brew.

Canned 2/16/16; drank 3/16/16 @ the Yarchives.
See-through pale orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big, fluffy white head; nice frothy lace.
Pine, mango & honey notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Pine & sweet mango flavors up front; honey notes on the finish.
Dry yet sweet; pretty good but too pine-y for me to fall for.

Top half of the 7 Luponics I've had. Not incredible - stopped buying these.

Not bad if you get it at a good price. Got a sixer for 8 bucks. Very good deal. Drinkable, not overwhelming and surprising complexity in a low cost beer.
