Picked up a sixer of this at the local BevMo. Poured into a standard pint glass and immediately noticed the nearly massive aroma. This IPA has plenty-o-hops to take in. What you smell in the nose is exactly what you taste out of the glass. The color was a very nice deep amber with good clarity and medium head. I agree with another reviewer's observation that this beer borders on the DIPA level of richness, hop aroma, piney floral taste, and big-time bitterness. I'd even say that it seems like an amped version of Sierra Nevada's most recent Celebration.

Truly an enjoyable beer while possibly being a little too big after an incredibly brutal day building a huge tool shed for my father-in-law. This is a relax-time beer; not quite the beer you want to quench the thirst. Actually, the bitterness is making me want to have yet another beer...

12 oz bottle pours a crystal clear amber color with a large-bubbled, pillowy off-white head. Stunning looking beer.

Nose is tropical hops with a light herbal note mixed with white bread and biscuit maltiness. Light fruit, but otherwise yeast is not a big influence.

Very nice balance of bittering and flavoring hops - and plenty of both. Ultra smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Malts play a solid role but let the hops do their thing, more than grainy but not in the toffee range. When fresh, this beer is nearly impossible to beat for the price.

A - Pale light golden orange with very minimal head. Looks cool.

S - Delicious hoppiness and citrus malt. Makes me excited to taste. One of the best traditional IPA scents I have had the pleasure to sniff sniff.

T - Citrus and grapefruit. Yep, Solid IPA flavour. More malty than hoppy but a definite bitter finish.

M - Firestone is gaining a reputation with as having very clean mouthfeel. Smooth but crisp.

O - Very good example of a traditional IPA. I'm a Lagunitas guy for IPAs but I would drink this anytime.

One of the best IPAs I have tried. Screw all those malt bomb IPAs, this one is a nice dry, crisp, pale, non-syrupy one. More like a traditional IPA. Again, screw all this trendy 'tons of malt' in an IPA which just ends up in a chaotic, thick, syrup-like mess.

This one is all pine resin and grapefruit. No sweetness or dark syrup. As in a "True IPA"

This IPA is one of the few fit to fly the Union Jack.
