Bought a single 12 oz bottle from City Swiggers as part of a six pack mix. As this was my first FW beer, I was very excited to finally sample something from this brewery.

It poured a light bronze with an off-white head. Almost a bit light for an IPA.

The smell was all hops, all the time. Citrus, floral, herbal, piney. Something for everyone! I appreciated the fact that this wasn't dominated by grapefruit.

The taste profile was great, a hop lovers best friend. Beside the crisp, clean hops was a backbone of malt. The only drawback was the bitterness that made me think this was a borderline DIPA.

a: Clear pale golden; pours with a thick, sticky head.

s: Fairly muted, but still very appealing. Some pineapple, citrus, and tropical fruit balanced a little caramel and pale malt.

t: Not as pungent as I expected, less than fresh keg maybe? Good beer though. Pineapple and lemon zest share the spotlight with sweet bready pale malr.

m: Sticky with creamy carbonation.

o: Good beer for sure, but I expected more based on how much I loved Double Jack.

Amber golden color with a thick head with good retention and leaving laces.
Nice citrusy aroma with notes of grapefruit, oranges and resin. Hints of pine.
Uau! This is utterly delicious, a citrusy explosion. Notes of grapefruit, tangerines, slightly toasted malts, spices and a hint of pineapples, pine and caramel.
Dry and bitter aftertaste with a lingering note of pine and citric fruit peel.
Light to medium body with perfect carbonation. 7.5% abv is seen nowhere.
I don’t remember having a more flavorful balanced IPA. Some are very balanced but not that flavorful. This one is a perfect match. They made 70 IBUs result in a firm but also elegant beer. Awesome beer that deserves to be drank very fresh.

12 oz bottle poured into an IPA glass. Bottled on 5/29. Consumed on 9/7.

A - Golden amber. Strong carbonation with little/no head. Just lacing from carbonation. Delicate lacing as beer recedes.

S - Very fragrant. Mango, kiwi, and banana.

T - Bursting with flavor. Banana, tangerine, lemon, mango, papaya, and pineapple. Grapefruit rind finish.

M - Crisp and clean with a nice tingle in the mouth from the strong carbonation. Luxurious foaming in the mouth.

O - The smell and taste of this beer are exceptional. Highly recommended.
