Served from the bottle into a nonic glass. Bottled on 3/6/13
A- Poured a clear orange color with forthy off-white head with big bubbles
S- Strong pine and some orange citrus and grapefruit notes. Quite a bit of sweetness. The aroma is a little muted.
T- Big pungent Simcoe hops,, very astringent. Some orange citrus, pine, and peach hop character. Lot of sweetness from the malt bill. Pungent hop character all around and an assertive bitterness on the finish
M- Smooth, highly carbonated, finishes sem-dry, pretty refreshing
O- Overall a very solid IPA with huge Simcoe presence. Lots of sweetness from the malt, but also an assertive bitterness.

12 oz, bottled 4/30/2014. About 3 weeks old.
A: Clear body, typical color for the style. Big foamy head with excellent retention.
S: Some stinky hops, green apples, citrus. Good start.
T: Classic dry west coast IPA, which is how I like them.
M: Nice carbonation, at 7.5% this is almost a double. A little heat from the alcohol towards the end.
O: A great west coast IPA that is best consumed fresh, which can sometimes be difficult to find. Racer 5 and Sucks are both better, IMO, but come from the same region of California. This one is nice to pick up when it's on sale.
